Frutify started in a Kochi kitchen with one question — why does buying good fruit have to be the hardest part of eating well? Four years later, we’re a quiet wellness brand growing one fresh box at a time.

Why we exist

We don’t sell fruit. We sell a routine.

The truth is, India doesn’t have a fruit problem. It has a fruit-access problem. The fruit at the supermarket is sometimes good, sometimes not. The fruit at the local thallu is unpredictable. The fruit in the office canteen is, well, a tragedy.

Frutify is the boring answer in a category full of loud ones. We obsess over same-quality, every-day, and we make ordering it feel like ordering coffee. Subscriptions, not impulse buys. Routine, not aspiration.

We started in Kochi because we live here. We’re growing slowly because that’s the only way a fresh-produce business that respects the word “fresh” can grow.

The journey

From a kitchen to a cold chain.

2022
A kitchen experiment.Two cousins, one juicer and forty mangoes. The first “Frutify box” was delivered to a friend’s sister in Edappally — for free.
2023
The first 100 subscribers.A janky WhatsApp ordering flow, a borrowed Tata Ace and a lot of patience. We learned what “fresh” really means.
2024
Our first hub.A 1,200 sq ft processing hub in Kakkanad. Cold chain, hygiene protocols, the works. Same-day cuts begin.
2025
Plans launch.Subscriptions go live. Office Reset becomes a small Kochi addiction. We hit 5,000 subscribers.
2026
A real journal.We start writing. Fresh Journal launches with three columns, four staff writers and a quiet hope: that wellness writing can be honest.

🌿 Sourcing principles

Where the fruit comes from matters as much as the fruit.

01Direct from farmsWe work with 38 partner farms across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. No middle layer. Farmers know exactly where their fruit goes.
02No artificial ripeningOur hubs use temperature- and ethylene-controlled rooms. Slower, more expensive, infinitely tastier.
03Same-day cutsA fruit cut in our hub is delivered before sundown. Anything that doesn’t make it ships to our juice line.
04Hygiene auditingQuarterly third-party audits at every hub. FSSAI compliance is the floor, not the ceiling.
05Seasonal honestyIf it isn’t in season, we don’t sell it. Mango from May to July. Strawberries from December to February. Period.
06Cold chain end-to-endFrom the farm gate to your door. 4–8°C for cuts, 0–4°C for juices. Always.
